When you register testing interest.
b.akery stores your email, selected role, optional workflow description, and a dated record of your contact permission in a private Cloudflare D1 database.
James uses these details to understand your work and contact you about relevant testing opportunities. They are not published, sold, or sent to newsletter services.
Testing interest does not subscribe you to the newsletter. Ask to see, correct, or remove your details by writing to aloha@getbakery.dev.
We retain your details until you ask us to remove them or we close this testing-interest list. There is currently no automatic expiry.
To limit automated submissions, the form keeps hashed request counters in ten-minute periods. Expired counters are cleared when another valid submission arrives. The form application does not store your raw IP address in the testing database.

When you subscribe to The Thirteenth Loaf.
Subscription and email delivery happen on Substack. Its privacy practices apply when you visit or subscribe there. Registering for testing does not create a Substack subscription.
Website analytics.
Google Analytics reports traffic. Microsoft Clarity produces heatmaps and session replay. These services can set cookies and send usage information to their providers.
Neither analytics service is loaded on the testing form page. Form details are sent only to the site’s Cloudflare endpoint.
In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, measurement starts only after you accept. Elsewhere, it starts by default and can be turned off through Cookie preferences.
Global Privacy Control is honored. If the consent decision service fails, analytics does not start.
The site uses your connection’s country, plus state for US connections, to choose its consent posture. This application does not persist that location.
Your analytics choice is saved in a first-party cookie for about twelve months. It records the consent state, and does not identify you across websites.
When you email.
Your message is kept so James can answer and continue the conversation you requested. Emailing does not add you to a marketing list.
Product testing has its own terms.
This notice does not authorize collection inside a b.akery product. Any test involving product data needs its own explanation and permission before it begins.
